This role develops and implements a multidisciplinary outpatient diabetes education program.
The Coordinator will coordinate diabetes education support groups and will act as an advisor to the group facilitators.

Diabetes Education CoordinatorShift:
PRN (Varied location-Paoli, Riddle and Lankenau Hospital)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a related field is required.
Maintains validation of current CPR training.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
A Master's Degree is preferred.
Licensures/Certifications:
Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a Professional Nurse is required-Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist upon hire or obtained within 24 months of hire.
Recommended Skills Cpr Education Endocrinology Multidisciplinary Approach Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
